Wonders of the Night Sky

There’s something different about being out at night with a camera—when everything slows down and the sky starts to take over. These are moments I’ve come across where the light, the weather, and timing all lined up just enough to capture something worth holding onto. Some planned, some not—but all of them reminders to look up more often.

Ready to embark on this celestial journey?

Milky Way from Raven's Nest, Acadia National Park

Standing at the edge of it all, it’s hard not to feel small in the best way.

Mackerel Rock, Ingonish, NS overlooking Cape Smokey Provincial Park

Everything slowed down here—the water, the wind, even time for a while.

Train tracks in rural Waldoboro, ME

There’s something about a path like this that makes you want to follow it, even in the dark.

Low's Covered Bridge, Guilford, ME

Places like this feel even quieter at night, like they were meant to be found this way.

Pemaquid Point light house, South Bristol, ME

Not every night looks the same—sometimes the light shows up in ways you don’t expect.

Overlooking cliffs, Cape Rouge, Cape Breton, NS

A seat with a view that doesn’t ask for anything—just that you stay a while.
